Thankfully we haven't had any sunburn effects today from yesterdays sailing so it must have just been wind burn.Emily got into work this morning to hear a really loud sound like a washing machine. The office upstairs had a water leak and had flooded some of the offices below. The noise was from the de-humidifiers and blow heaters trying to dry out the office. Luckily Emily's office was nice and dry, though work was a 'little' hot today.
Emily has been wanting to get a spooky lantern for the front of the house since everyone else has already started decorating their house for Halloween weeks ago. So today I bought a medium one. I cut the top off and scooped out the flesh to make a Caribbean dish of spicy pumpkin and shrimp. We still have lots of pumpkin for other meals including the seeds which I will dry roast for snacks. Since we don't want to put the pumpkin outside quite yet, I've wrapped it in clingfilm and put it in the fridge to stay fresh.
