Happy Birthday Dad!

After a morning of skyping and phoning I went to try out the new gym. There was only one other person swimming and place felt empty, which I think it was. And it was not because I was there very early - but I am not complaining. I did my mile as per usual then I went out to the outside pool. I sat in the spa, before overheating, then relaxed on a deck chair - this working out is really difficult!

I went on to the Galleria for a bit of retail therapy and to buy Emma's chewing gum that she has been waiting so patiently for! It seems the only place I can get it is in the sweetie shop in the Galleria. Only one new pair of shoes and a dress! Imelda Marcos strikes again. What I forgot to say is 'oh my god' the car parks are vast there. You have to take note of the car park and level, otherwise you will never find your car. Having parked up, I couldn't see the way to the shops so I followed a lady, who said 'Do you know how to get to the shops?' aah no! Anyway, we both went off in search of the entrance together - she loved my accent :)

This afternoon I decided to check out the pool at the apartments and it is quite nice. I only stayed out an hour because I am afraid of burning to a crisp with my lilly white Scottish skin!

Off to the cinema now - not sure what Malena and I are going to see.
