So I rushed back to the house to drop it off and then I was straight out to Ikea for my big mirror I had spotted yesterday. Well I got it in the car, but it was a very close call. It was lucky I don't drive a manual car! I unloaded the monster mirror at the house and waited for the mattress to be delivered. Then off to buy a toaster and iron!
I managed to pick up some of the netting laundry bags. I haven't had those since I was at school, but I am finding the top loading washing machines really hard on my clothes, especially smalls.
This afternoon Cecelia was having a BBQ so I went along. She has two dogs, Rita is a cocker spaniel puppy, about 12 weeks old, and she is gorgeous even if her little teeth are quite sharp. And Lucy, I am not sure what kind she is, but she has the softest fur, and would make an excellent floor polisher :) One of Cecelia friends had brought a 'cowboy t-bone' steak - it was a serious steak. I made him pose with it for scale! I reckon it could have lasted me a week of meals. The dogs were pretty hopeful that he would leave some, but no luck.
