Threat of car towing

Work today was less than exiting due to struggling with software issues all day - it is one of my pet hates achieving nothing because the software is pants. Anyhow, less said about that the better.

I met up with the realtor at the house today and the grass is now laid on the front yard. It will take sometime to establish, but at least it has a sprinkler system to get watered regularly. A cleaner has been in the house and done a fantastic job. I got a terrible fright when I looked in the kitchen sink to see a huge cockroach starring at me! I jumped backwards, and even the realtor looked concerned by it! I have to admit we were not terribly humane and I am going to buy some bug spray before I move in. It appears to have come up the drain and I don't have an infestation unlike in Italy, if I remember correctly!

So why the threat of car towing? Well, I had a big yellow warning sticker on my car tonight at work to say I had taken two parking spaces and I would be owed if it happens again! In my defense, the reason I had taken two spaces was because the car I parked next to was enormous and was in the next door space so I utilised the two spaces beside it. I wont be doing that again, I will have to find somewhere else to park now. I have tried to peel off the sticker, but it is like the ones Aberdeen University used to stick on your car, and it takes paint stripper to get them off. I am actually just off downstairs with some water and a sponge to see what I can do.

Mosquito bites still itching like crazy :)
