Lost

I think I'm well over my jetlag now and starting to get into the swing of things apart from the heat. Today I went to ask about a Sim card for my phone. The basic packages are reasonable, but you have to pay extra to be able to send text messages, but the real shocker is that you have to pay to receive phone calls and texts, which seems a bit unfair since a you can't control spam calls. Anyway tomorrow I'll be looking at a few more companies for comparison.

Em and I met Dean, an old KMG colleague for lunch at Papasito's, a really good Mexican restaurant. I've been eating Tex-Mex since I've arrived and drinking lots of iced tea. I'm becoming a Texan already.

Early this evening Em took me to her gym and signed me in as a guest to try it out. It is huge! There are hundreds of machines but it was quite empty, even though we went at rush hour. I took my own car so I could drive home while Em was with her trainer, however even though I was paying attention I got lost. I'll have to get a GPS.
