Stuff again!

Well not much to report here. I gave a lift one of my colleagues this morning and home again. She kindly invited me in for a glass of wine so I couldn't refuse! I had already decided I was going to the gym as I was feeling tired all day today after yesterday's mammoth session. While I was at Dorte's there was a huge thunderstorm the house rumbled with the thunder and then a huge bolt of lightening surged the power and all the lights went out! Fortunately, it came back on a couple of minutes later, by then the rain was coming down heavy.

When I got home I had the chance, and the enthusiasm, to do some washing, dishes - you know all the things you still have to do to live! I still haven't used the dishwasher yet! I will have to give it a pre-wash cycle before Stu arrives, as he is not into living without using it! I doubt the thing has been used in over a year (since the house was last let) so I hope it doesn't spring-a-da-leak!

There is a film on TV tonight, 'Blood Diamonds', which I haven't seen before, and for once the benefit of all the adverts is that I can get all the things I need to do in the breaks without missing the story!

Well, it is a week tomorrow before Stu arrives. I am so looking forward to having my friend here :) He has been busy today, along with my father, loading a luton van of our possessions and driving to the farm. I have some photos to share from their day. My poor Mum is now the owner of most of our house plants - sorry Mum, but I know they will be healthier when we get them back in three years than when you received them!
